When filtered sediment accumulates at the face of the screen gasket increasing pressure, the perforated plate holds the gasket in place and prevents any screen displacement. QiiMii tri-clamp filter plates offer users a great solid platform to help with filtration during the extraction process and they come standard with tri clamp screen gaskets available in different sizes and material types. QiiMii tri-clamp filter plates can be used simultaneously with ash less filter papers or any other filtration media like stainless steel ball bearings or steel wool to increase surface and filtration level to remove fats, lipids, waxes and other material during the extraction process.
