I work on porting small engines and have been looking for something to hold the heads or cylinders i am working on in place. The way the clamp is bolted to the pivot ball means the clamp can be removed. Then I can simply bolt the part I am working on to it where the clamp was bolted on. The way it has a separate lock I can move the part around as needed & lock it in place. Makes the job much easier to have my other hand free instead of holding the part with the free hand.Will be buying another to have as a spare :-)
