We have a pinhole link in a copper pipe due to acidic water, and had ziptied some rubber hose over it to at least guide the water down to the floor drain. While this was in place and options were being explored, the first pinhole got larger and a second one developed. We received this product with one day Prime shipping and it solved the problem instantly; at first I didn't think it would work, but upon tightening the last half thread, the leak shut off like a valve. It's hard to say how long it will be before another leak opens up elsewhere, but it's been working for 24 hours on a hot water line right out of the water heater.
