Easy to position and suitable for microphones to max. 1.70 pounds. The 5 m long microphone cable with a 3 pin XLR plug connector is included. Having a clamping range of 0 to 2" the clamp is suitable for a wide spectrum of mounting. The stable metal construction with high quality plastic inserts guarantees secure and strong hold. The cleverly shaped clamping parts allow the clamp to be used on smooth surfaces and round shaped tubes. The microphone arm can also be fixed with the table flange 23855 available as an optional extra.

I love clean cable management so this is worth it to me, I have always thought cheaper mic stands look pretty unappealing regardless. One thing you'll never see in a picture is how good it is in terms of both flexibility and sturdinesss. It's adjustable and I love how steady it is but you can still move it around if you don't overtighten the adjustments.They improved one part of the build quality, I bought one a few weeks ago and one a couple years ago. The newer one has a larger rubber clamp to get a better grip on desks, that was an infrequent issue on my old one if it wasn't tightened correctly—it almost fell only one time before the upgrade, partly my fault.Two pictures for comparison, I'm continuing to use the original from a few years without any maintenance, moving it around frequently, it has held up well.
