This is the 2nd set of oarlocks that I bought for my rowboat. This set is designed better than the first set and are thicker. I’m using them with aluminum oars and they work great.These are good quality I usually bend these things within minutes, I've used these for almost a week now and they haven't taken any damage.Well built and does the job!This is great for the boat. Just like the picture but better.Very little flex. One should check tightness of screws every time out. I used them on a Portabote; much sturdier than the original equipment.Good product but was not large enough to clamp on the wooden oars I was using them on.Had to return them.It wasn't what I needed but they are very well built. I would recommendNo problems with strength or size or ease of use, they do just what they are supposed to do and will last forever !
